Benefits of Aviva for fund managers and advisers: The most important benefit of Aviva is its cost effectiveness. You do not pay for any advertising. You pay a platform fee to operate the software. This is the only outlay you will incur and it is a one-off payment that guarantees you that your Aviva adviser's clients will continue to receive investment support through to the end of your financial year.

Benefits of Aviva for financial advisers
Benefits of Aviva for financial advisers: The largest single advantage of Aviva is the automatic inclusion of your current client details into your AIG account. If you are a member of AIG then you can automatically include your clients in your AIG account once you have logged on to the AIG platform and clicked on "Add as client". If you are a non-AIG financial adviser then you can register on the AIG website and include your clients within your AIG account. Once you have completed this step, your AIG account will show your profile including all your personal data such as name, address, contact details and email address.
Benefits of Aviva for fund managers
Benefits of Aviva for fund managers and advisers: Like AIG, Aviva has also integrated its platform with AIG. However, Aviva does not charge a platform fee. When you are a member of AIG you need to pay a standard subscription fee to the AIG website and then choose which assets you wish to include in your portfolio on the AIG website. If you are not a member of AIG you will be charged an up-front commission fee by the Aviva for advisers programme.
This is based on the value of your contribution to the overall performance of the fund and is paid monthly. A unique double-locked facility allows qualified AIG representatives to enroll as advisers on the Aviva platform whilst also being able to enroll as fund managers or asset managers with the AIG fund management system

Additional fees: You will be charged a fee by Aviva for advisers for their services. These fees will differ between the different product groups. In addition to the standard AIG commission rate, you will be charged by the platform portfolios that you manage. These platform portfolios include the costs of the index futures market as well as the charges that relate to the hedging cost that you incur with these funds. A fixed minimum income is also required of the adviser on this type of investment portfolio.
The additional costs and charges associated with Aviva for advisers do make the AIG platform more attractive than Aviva for pensions. However, it is important to understand that the AIG scheme has been established to offer a simpler and cleaner investment proposition than the Aviva for pensions scheme. It is also important to understand that with the introduction of Aviva for pensions there will be more fees and charges associated with the platform than with the AIG pension scheme.

You should therefore consider whether you can make the financial decisions that you need to make from the comfort of your own home without incurring the added costs associated with the added features and attributes of the Aviva for advisers program.
